  • Restaurant Host

    Host Job Description

    We are a busy restaurant and have an opening for a Host. You will greet guests as they enter and show them to their table or waiting area. You will also engage with guests to ensure their meal is as good as it should be. To do well in this role you should be comfortable standing for long periods and managing a very busy shift.


    Host Responsibilities

    • Greeting guests as they enter, and putting them on a waiting list as necessary.
    • Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions.
    • Seating guests at tables or in waiting areas.
    • Assigning guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers.
    • Engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service.
    • Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them.
    • Answering phone calls, taking reservations and answering questions.
    • A knowledge of the menu.
    • Helping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed.
    • Providing great customer service.

    Host Requirements

    • High School Diploma/GED.
    • Must be 18 years or older.
    • Ability to provide top notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
    • A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.
    • Does high-quality work while unsupervised.
    • Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
    • Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary.
    • Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
    • Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
    • Able to work in a busy restaurant environment.
    • Restaurant experience a plus.
  • Line Cook

    Line Cook Job Description

    We are looking for a professional line cook to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.


    Line Cook Responsibilities

    • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
    • Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
    • Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
    • Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions.
    • Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
    • Stock inventory appropriately.
    • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
    • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
    • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

    Line Cook Requirements

    • High School Diploma/GED.
    • Must be 18 years or older.
    • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook.
    • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
    • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
    • Familiar with industry’s best practices.
    • Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 50 pounds.

    Busser Job Description 

    We are searching for candidates who will enjoy working with others in a fast-paced environment and who have a desire to help create an enjoyable dining experience for guests. Bussers aim to support other team members by cleaning and resetting tables, ensuring the availability of flatware and plates, and bringing guest needs to the attention of waitstaff. They also restock necessary items, such as napkins and straws, and may assist with washing dishes. Suitable candidates should be efficient, attentive, and have strong customer service skills.


    Busser Responsibilities

    • Work with restaurant staff to create a positive dining experience for guests.
    • Greet customers and answer questions.
    • Alert servers when tables are in need of attention.
    • Clean tables and remove dishes after the party leaves.
    • Carry loads of soiled dishes to the dishwasher to be cleaned.
    • Ensure availability of clean dishes, flatware, glasses, straws, napkins, and other dining materials.
    • Washing dishes.
    • Be able to remain focused and on-task during busy hours.

    Busser Requirements

    • High School Diploma/GED.
    • Must be 18 years or older.
    • Previous restaurant experience preferred, but not necessary.

  • Dishwasher

    Dishwasher Job Description

    We are looking for a dedicated, organized dishwasher who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The Dishwasher’s duties include washing soiled plates, flatware, pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc. They also include restocking items, unloading delivery trucks, help prepare cook stations, clean appliances and machines, empty and clean trash receptacles, and other duties, as needed.


    To be successful as a Dishwasher, you should be a committed, communicative team player with excellent time management skills. You should be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures.


    Dishwasher Responsibilities

    • Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware.
    • Preparing dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
    • Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
    • Unloading and storing deliveries.
    • Sweeping and mopping floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled.
    • Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans.
    • Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.
    • Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.

    Dishwasher Requirements

    • High School Diploma/GED.
    • Must be 18 years or older.
    • Minimal work experience.
    • Strong problem solving and communication skills.
    • Exceptional time management skills.
    • Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 50 pounds.
    • Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
